Our workshop with Mark David was extremely
productive and uplifting. Every time I have an
opportunity to get in front of Mark, I come away
with something that I can take to my team. The past
few months have changed the way I do business. By
implementing Mark’s tools, I have been able to be
more productive and focus on growing my team to the
next level.

On April 1st we completed the training
and roll out of the 2-Day Coach Approach Workshop
to our Client Services organization. The training
immediately provided my managers with an
understanding of how to better communicate with and
develop their employees. To our delight, the
employees’ use of the Personal Business Plan
coupled with the manager’s use of the Play Book
immediately aligned expectations, provided
direction and goals, empowered employees, and
improved communication within the area.
The initial results were so positive that two other
areas [in our company], Specialty Services and
Sales, will soon be utilizing the program and the
training. I am pleasantly surprised that for such a
minor investment of time and money our organization
is not only on track, but in a position to exceed
expectations.

As a participant of Mark David’s Real World Sales
Workshop, I knew in the first five minutes of his
presentation that “someone in management made a
good decision.” At the end of the day I said to
myself, “Those managers are brilliant.” Mark
David’s professionalism and passion struck us like
a lightening bolt in the middle of a stagnant sea.
His teaching of Real World Sales gave us the cold,
hard facts of how to survive, be successful, and
keep alive in a competitive sales world. I can
honestly say I wanted two more days of that class!
In my young life I’ve been “in person” to listen
to:
·
Brian Tracy – “Some say the best education for the
young is to learn at the feet of an elder.” When I
sat at the feet of Brian Tracy, all I could smell
was cash. $ $. Tracy & Associates wanted me to
come, listen, and be teased. Their goal was for me
to buy CDs, books, etc.
MARK DAVID DID BETTER. I learned “on the spot, roll
up your sleeves, this is how to be good at your
trade” information.
·
Tony Perinelli – A Jay Leno meets Dr. Phil McGraw
show. Two hours of jokes and how to become a member
of Tony’s Web site classroom. “For only $29.99/hour
you can use my Web site, blah, blah, blah.”
MARK DAVID DID BETTER. I received “a real meal” for
a “reasonable price.” I spent one day with someone
who has changed my perception of the world in terms
of sales and will change my sales career for the
better.
·
Anthony Robbins – Kind of motivating, but it takes
a lot to impress a kid like me who escaped to this
country with nothing but the clothes on her back.
Not much meat to chew on. Anthony was NOT real
enough for me.
MARK DAVID DID BETTER. He came to us and said, “I
am just like you. I sat where you sit. Let me show
you a better way to do this sales thing.”
Thank you, Mark David. I am a new sales person now.
I think differently. I am DOING things better and
with more “smarts.” Mark David was the reality
therapy and inspiration I so badly needed.

The concepts we have uncovered with Mark’s help
have really started to have a positive effect. By
focusing on two or three of the Coaching
Illustrated principles, I have been able to dig
deeper into some of the issues that I have faced,
and subsequently have been able to do the same for
some of my reps. Mark has a special talent for
getting to the root causes of the issues. After
practicing a “Mark David” style of One-on-One
meetings, I have uncovered some root causes
plaguing individuals on my own team. I think the
most important thing that Mark does is “follow
up.” Without his follow up, I may not have stuck
to the process.

Mark's timing in discussing “performance” was
extremely timely. I felt focused,
invigorated, and grateful that we had his
expertise. I think
subconsciously we all know what Mark talks about,
but he adds such a
compelling spin with his humor and presentation
that I left fired up
to
refocus my team. My sales managers feel very much
the same way.
