This exciting program presents a sound and inspiring platform for more experienced professionals within your organization to easily impart wisdom, knowledge and experience with other colleagues. Today’s business climate demands that we achieve greater results within the same amount time with the same amount if not fewer people. Today’s economy does not allow for many dollars to be spent on training. The only way to make greater results a reality is through continuous growth and development of our most valuable assets…our employees. What better way to do so than by leveraging the talent and experience that already exists within the organization? This workshop was developed for the Mentor and Mentee to experience and practice their roles within the mentoring relationship. It will create the foundation for a 12-Month Mentoring Program and relationship.

The Self-Manager Success Journal is the centerpiece of this program. It presents 52 mentoring principles that make it easy for the Mentor to tap into their experiences and support the success of another. It is an easy-to-implement system that will foster a highly productive culture, inspire greater teamwork and job satisfaction.

Learning Objectives

Participants will learn how to:

  • Gain a clear understanding of the definition of an effective mentor
  • Gain a better understanding of the benefits of becoming and effective and inspiring mentor
  • Implement an easy to use mentoring tool and system
  • Develop the skills of an effective mentor and practice implementation of these skills with his/her Mentee
  • Impart wisdom, knowledge, guidance, experience, ideas and recommendations to the Mentee
  • Unconditionally care, challenge, guide, “hold up the mirror” for professional and personal growth so that the Mentee can self-reflect and better his/her life.
  • Clearly define the roles and path of a Mentor / Mentee 12-month relationship
  • Enrich his/her life by participating in a Mentoring program
  • Create a 12-month Mentoring Plan with the Mentee by the completion of the workshop
