Automating the Disciplines of Success
By Mark David
Technology has forever changed the way we do business; yet, as
technology finds more and more sophisticated solutions to everyday
problems, there is still a need to do things even faster, better,
and cheaper in order to remain competitive. So, if you've
streamlined your operation as much as possible with the latest
technology, where do you turn to improve performance?
I believe that focusing on "people" is the way of the future. The
increased use of technology in business has led to downsizing;
therefore, fewer employees are now responsible for more. But how
many additional hours can you squeeze out of people? How many times
can you ask them to put their profession before their personal
life?
We have entered an era that is forcing us to become a new type of
professional. It is no longer enough to simply outwork the
competition. We actually have to outperform the competition by
doing more in less time. Corporate America needs to transform
everyday employees into everyday leaders: the type of leaders that
can make fast, effective decisions, think more proactively and
solve everyday problems for themselves - the type of leaders that
are creative, innovative, and ruthless about time management.
Wouldn't it be great if professionals could implement a "human
technology" that would automate all of the disciplines of success
within their behavior? This new technology would then create a
professional culture that decreases stress, increases productivity
and enables employees to manage through technological advances.
So, where do you begin creating the kind of culture that breathes
creativity, innovation, and maximum performance? In my years as an
executive coach, I have determined what talented professionals need
to do to be extremely successful. I have created a formula that
actually automates the disciplines of success and empowers
professionals to achieve increased productivity every day without
burnout in business or personal life. This formula provides to
human beings what automation has provided to American industry for
centuries. And it's simple to adopt immediately.
My formula is a vehicle for individuals to take control of their
own accomplishments and for managers to motivate teams to achieve
company goals. It includes basic elements:
Job Description + Human Development + Human Performance + Long-Term
Partnerships = Increased Results
